How to become a band member…
1. Marshall Music Instrument Fittings. You should receive a call from Charlie Davidson, a Marshall Music representive, between May 31 and June 7. You do not have to purchase or rent an instrument from them, but should go for a fitting so that you can choose an instrument. If you can’t schedule an appointment with them, please schedule one with me and I will fit you with an instrument.
2. Get an instrument and a book. The school has a limited amount of instruments that can be borrowed, but all members are highly encouraged to purchase their own. Below this letter I will list contact info for the two companies that service our school. Both have great rental programs and sell both new and used instruments. Please make sure that used instruments are sent to one of those listed companies in for servicing and are of high quality. We use Essential Elements 2000 book 1 in 6th grade as our method book (make sure you order the one that goes with your instrument).
